Baseball Recap: Rio Americano Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Rio Americano proved they can win big last Friday (they won by ten) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Ponderosa Bruins 1-0. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Bruins recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Carter Dean looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He is becoming a predictor of Rio Americano's success: when he allows at most three hits the team is undefeated (and 6-7 when he doesn't).
