Softball Recap: Era Comes Up Short

Era was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 10-1 to the Alvord Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 back in March.

Era saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Pressly Martindale, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Era's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Alvord, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-10 record.

Era wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 18-0 defeat against Muenster on the 17th. As for Alvord, they have also already played their next game, an 11-4 win against Chico on the 17th.
