Soccer Game Preview: Aldine vs. Benjamin Davis

The Aldine Mustangs are taking a road trip to take on the Benjamin Davis Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Aldine is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.9 goals per game this season.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Mustangs on Friday. Aldine never let Westfield get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. Aldine better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Gewlaymi Gonzalez, as she scored every single goal for her team.

Meanwhile, Benjamin Davis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 5-1 to Spring.

Aldine pushed their record up to 16-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Benjamin Davis, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Everything went Aldine's way against Benjamin Davis in their previous meeting back in February, as Aldine made off with an 8-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Aldine since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
