Basketball Recap: Bridgewater/Emery Takes a Loss

Bridgewater/Emery was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Colman-Egan C-E Hawks 70-32. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the C-E Hawks are ranked 22nd).

Bridgewater/Emery's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Colman-Egan, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 18-2.

While Bridgewater/Emery had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
