With a playoff win on the line, Ingomar rose to the challenge on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the North Side Gators a 16-0 shutout. Considering the Falcons have won 12 matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Ingomar's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-5-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for North Side, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Ingomar will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Gators: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
