Basketball Recap: Hebron Takes a Loss

Hebron lost against Guyer back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The match between the Hebron Hawks and the Guyer Wildcats didn't end well, with the Hebron Hawks falling 58-41. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 119th, while the Wildcats are ranked seventh).

This is the second loss in a row for Hebron and nudges their season record down to 15-11. As for Guyer, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 20 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.

When Hebron and Guyer next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Hebron will try to stop Little Elm's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Guyer will face off against Marcus and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
