Queensbury piles up the points against Hudson Falls

The Queensbury Spartans stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Hudson Falls 57-28 on the road. The victory was nothing new for Queensbury as they're now sitting on 12 straight.

Queensbury's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kayla Zehr, who scored 17 points along with six assists and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Zehr has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Shea Canavan, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists.

Queensbury's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.4 points per game. As for Hudson Falls, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Queensbury will challenge South Glens Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. South Glens Falls will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 293rd, while Queensbury is ranked 50th). As for Hudson Falls, they will head out on the road to face off against Glens Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
