Basketball Recap: Geneva Comes Up Short

Geneva was the 49-37 winner over Daleville when they last played one another back in December of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Geneva Panthers took a 47-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Daleville Warhawks on Tuesday.

Geneva has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Daleville, the win snapped their losing streak at nine games and leaves them with a 5-14 record.

Geneva will venture away from home to take on Dale County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Geneva is facing Dale County at the right time seeing as Dale County is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Daleville, they will challenge Ashford at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Daleville will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: Ashford will have lost three straight heading into Friday's game.
