Volleyball Recap: Sullivan Victorious

Sullivan posted their closest victory since September 6th on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Effingham Hearts, sneaking past 2-1.

Sullivan had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 26-24, 15-7.

Sullivan's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-11. As for Effingham, their loss dropped their record down to 14-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sullivan will welcome Robinson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Effingham, they will face off against Charleston at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hearts are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
