North Thurston faced Central Kitsap in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Rams were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cougars. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

North Thurston never let Central Kitsap on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 26-24, 25-16.

Addy Conner paced North Thurston's offense, picking up 27 kills. Conner got some help from Sammi Humphrey and her 41 assists. Finally, Conner was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

North Thurston's win bumped their record up to 24-1. As for Central Kitsap, they moved to 18-4 with that loss, which also ended their seven-match winning streak.
