Soccer Recap: St. Michael Triumphs

St. Michael won the last time they faced Port Allen and things went their way on Thursday too. The Warriors' defense stepped up to hand the Pelicans an 8-0 shutout. The victory made it back-to-back wins for St. Michael.

Their offense was hitting Port Allen from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Camden Gitz led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

The win got St. Michael back to even at 9-9-4. As for Port Allen, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.
