Basketball Game Preview: Potomac Senior Panthers vs. Dunbar Crimson Tide

The Potomac Senior Panthers will head out to take on the Dunbar Crimson Tide at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Potomac Senior knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Dunbar likes a good challenge.

Potomac Senior will head into Saturday's game on the come-up: they were handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Potomac on Saturday. Potomac Senior blew past Potomac 64-41. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 21 points or more this season.

Amani Asari was his usual excellent self, going 8 for 13 on his way to 21 points in addition to eight steals and five assists. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lance Aiden Logan, who went 5 for 10 on his way to 12 points.

Meanwhile, Dunbar played a tough game on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt an 82-44 defeat at the hands of Coolidge. The Crimson Tide were down 72-40 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Dunbar now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Potomac Senior, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
