Softball Recap: SA Roosevelt Takes a Loss

SA Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 28th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 16-3 to the LEE Volunteers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Volunteers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 26-8 back in March.

SA Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for LEE, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-17.

SA Roosevelt and LEE could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Rough Riders will face off against Churchill at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (1165 vs. 510). Meanwhile, LEE (ranked 1104th) will meet Johnson (ranked 253rd) at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
