Basketball Recap: Star City Comes Up Short

If Star City was feeling good fresh off their 70-43 takedown of Crossett last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Star City Bulldogs took a 69-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warren Lumberjacks on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Lumberjacks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Star City's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Warren, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Star City has already played their next match (against Monticello), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Warren is taking a road trip to face off against Crossett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
