Football Game Preview: All S Saints vs. Second Baptist Eagles

The All S Saints will face off against the Second Baptist Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in All S' favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last 11 matchups.

All S is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 49-35 win over Regents. The Saints haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

It was another big night for Gavin Beard, who threw for 240 yards and four touchdowns while completing 74.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 80 yards and a pair of scores. Those 80 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Hudson Reasor also helped with two TDs in total.

Meanwhile, Second Baptist posted their closest win since September 19th on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 41-38 victory over Lutheran South Academy.

Second Baptist now has a winning record of 7-6. As for All S, their win bumped their record up to 13-0.

All S strolled past Second Baptist when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a score of 21-3. Will the Saints repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
