Basketball Recap: Penn Hills Falls to Peters Township in First Game of Season

Penn Hills had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 65-64 to Peters Township. Penn Hills lost against Peters Township in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 63-30 score last time.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Penn Hills will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Moon Area at 6:00 p.m. on December 5. As for Peters Township, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Pine-Richland at 5:00 p.m.
