Softball Recap: Montgomery Has No Trouble Against Huntsville

Montgomery had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Huntsville Hornets on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won nine contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Montgomery's win bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Huntsville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season.

Coincidentally, Montgomery and Huntsville will both be playing A&M Consolidated the next time they take the field. The Bears will host the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Hornets will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
