Eastwood put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Bel Air Highlanders as the Eastwood Troopers made off with a 20-1 win. Considering the Troopers have won four matchups by more than 11 runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Valeria Avila was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February of 2024. Amanda Rodriguez was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Eastwood was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in five consecutive contests.

Eastwood's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Bel Air, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Eastwood will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Riverside at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Eastwood's pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so Riverside's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Bel Air, they will face off against Socorro at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Socorro is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.
