Basketball Game Preview: Ross Rams vs. Oakwood Lumberjacks

The Ross Rams will head out on the road to square off against the Oakwood Lumberjacks at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday. Ross will be strutting in after a victory while Oakwood will be coming in after a loss.

Ross is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Edgewood: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Ross blew Edgewood out of the water with a 70-40 final score. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Oakwood came up short against Brookville on Thursday and fell 66-55. The defeat continues a trend for the Lumberjacks in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now lost three in a row.

Ross has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.3 points. As for Oakwood, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7.

Ross came out on top in a nail-biter against Oakwood when the teams last played back in February of 2022, sneaking past 32-30. Does Ross have another victory up their sleeve, or will Oakwood turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
