Basketball Recap: Central Lyon Comes Up Short

Central Lyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 58-39 to the West Lyon Wildcats. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 71-37 back in December of 2024.

Central Lyon's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for West Lyon, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Lyon will venture away from home to take on Sioux Center at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Lyon, they will head out to face off against Boyden-Hull at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
