Softball Recap: Lincoln Northwest Falcons vs. Elkhorn Antlers        
        
		
             Lincoln Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They fell  8-5 to the Elkhorn Antlers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the  3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in September.
  Kenna Scribner was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she  struck out eight batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned  (and seven unearned) runs off   seven  hits. Scribner was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Lyrik Harris made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Lincoln Northwest's record is now 11-17. As for Elkhorn,  the  win snapped their losing streak at five games  and leaves them with a 14-15 record.
 Lincoln Northwest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Elkhorn, they will face off against Elkhorn North on Thursday. Elkhorn is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
