Basketball Recap: Harvest Prep Now 7-2 over Last Nine Games

On Tuesday, the Harvest Prep Warriors earned a 70-59 win over the Hamilton Township Rangers.

It was another big night for Ephraim Campbell, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. What's more, he also racked up five assists, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Brandon Roddy, who posted 15 points in addition to five assists and five boards.

Harvest Prep was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hamilton Township only racked up ten assists.

Hamilton Township's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jovon McBride, who almost dropped a double-double on 29 points and nine rebounds, and Lucas King, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards. The matchup was McBride's 14th in a row with at least ten points. Kadan Ahr was another key player, putting up four points and five rebounds.

Harvest Prep is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Hamilton Township, they moved to 12-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Harvest Prep has already played their next contest (against Richmond Heights), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hamilton Township is taking a road trip to square off against Logan Elm at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hamilton Township knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Logan Elm likes a good challenge.
