Soccer Recap: Emery/Weiner Comes Up Short

Emery/Weiner lost against The Woodlands Christian Academy back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Emery/Weiner Emery/Weiner fell just short of The Woodlands Christian Academy Warriors by a score of 4-3. That's two games in a row now that Emery/Weiner has lost by just one goal.

Emery/Weiner's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for The Woodlands Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Lutheran South Academy the next time they take the pitch. The Woodlands Christian Academy will head out to face Lutheran South Academy at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Emery/Weiner will host them at 6:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
