Football Recap: Elk City Takes a Loss

While it was Elk City who put the first points on the board on Friday, it was Clinton who put up more. The Elks took a 17-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Tornadoes. The Elks haven't had much luck with the Red Tornadoes recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 2-4. As for Clinton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Elk City is set to challenge their familiar foe Douglass at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Clinton will face off against rival Cache at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
