Rim of the World is 9-1 against Rialto since November of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Fighting Scots will head out to take on the Knights at 5:15 p.m.

Rim of the World is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering San Gorgonio just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Spartans.

While Rim of the World ultimately came up short, they really made San Gorgonio work, particularly in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21, 23-25, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Rialto waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Spartans.

Rialto wouldn't go down easily and took Jurupa Hills into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-20, 23-25, 23-25, 15-9.

Rialto's victory bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Rim of the World, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-12.

Rim of the World came out on top in a nail-biter against Rialto when the teams last played back in September, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Fighting Scots since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
