Clawson waltzed into their match on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 53-48 W against the Mott Marauders. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Marauders back in January, they had to take a 57-45 loss.

Clawson pushed their record up to 15-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.6 points over those games. As for Mott, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-5.

Looking ahead, Clawson will welcome Academy of the Sacred Heart at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mott, they are taking a road trip to challenge Sterling Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
