Baseball Recap: River Valley Comes Up Short

River Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 5-1 to the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Raging Rhinos this season, with their most recent defeat being a 11-1 loss on Friday.

River Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was ETHAN RIVERA, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. That RBI marked the first that RIVERA brought in this season.

River Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Twelve Bridges, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-5.

River Valley has already played their next matchup, a 6-0 loss against Roseville on the 24th. As for Twelve Bridges, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Yuba City on the 24th.
