Basketball Recap: Cascade Finds Home Court Redemption Against Vision

There's no place like home for Cascade, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 29-26 victory over Vision on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Ramblers have posted since January 25th.

Vision's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Angel Gutierrez, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 boards, and Aubrie Parrish, who posted six points and 13 rebounds. That's the most rebounds Gutierrez has posted since back in December of 2023.

With the victory, Cascade broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3. As for Vision, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cascade and Non Varsity Opponent will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Vision will take on Liberty Charter in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
