Football Recap: Owen Orourke Leads Seabreeze's Defense on Friday + How To Watch

Seabreeze's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Matanzas Pirates by a score of 21-11. This was payback for the Sandcrabs, who suffered an 18-10 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Seabreeze didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Orourke, TRISTIAN MILLER, and CASH KURZ picked up one apiece. MILLER also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with eight. Orourke got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Matanzas lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Wiley Conner, who rushed for 86 yards on only seven carries.

The victory got Seabreeze back to even at 2-2. As for Matanzas, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-2 record.

Seabreeze wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 28-27 defeat against New Smyrna Beach on the 26th. As for Matanzas, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 34-17 loss against Mainland on the 25th.
