Volleyball Recap: Whitefield Academy Takes a Loss

Whitefield Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings.

Leading St. Anne-Pacelli to victory were Allie Vickery and Anna Do. Vickery had nine digs and nine assists, while Do had 16 assists and six digs. Those nine assists gave Vickery a new career-high.

Whitefield Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

St. Anne-Pacelli has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Brookstone on the 9th. Hopefully Whitefield Academy paid attention to the Vikings' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Vikings at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
