Basketball Recap: Walton Falls Short Against Ranked Wheeler

On Friday, Walton faced Wheeler in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Walton Raiders came up short against the Wheeler Wildcats, falling 72-51. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Walton's defeat dropped their record down to 20-5. As for Wheeler, the victory (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 24-3.

As of now, neither Walton nor Wheeler have any future games scheduled.
