Baseball Recap: Addison Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Leslie, Addison was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Springport Spartans 12-10. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Panthers' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Noah Gramm was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and one double. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Levi Chestney also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Addison lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Addison's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7. As for Springport, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Coming up, Addison will venture away from home to challenge Homer at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Springport, they will welcome Union City at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
