Baseball Recap: Howard Takes a Loss

Howard lost against West Laurens back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Howard came up short against West Laurens, falling 16-1.

Howard saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was VICTOR PINKNEY, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

Howard has also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season. West Laurens' victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-7.

While Howard had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
