After a string of three wins, Gunter's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They came up short against the Lindsay Knights, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Tigers have suffered since August 12th.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Lindsay scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-19, 25-22.

Gunter's defeat dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Lindsay, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 21-7.

Looking ahead, Gunter will venture away from home to square off against Liberty Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lindsay, they will welcome Nocona at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
