Basketball Recap: Bound Brook Finds Home Court Redemption Against Dayton

There's no place like home for Bound Brook, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They skirted past the Dayton Bulldogs 50-48. The Crusaders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lucas Antonio, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Sherman, who posted ten points and six boards.

The win got Bound Brook back to even at 8-8. As for Dayton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bound Brook will take on Somerville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dayton, they will square off against Roselle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
