Wayne Academy had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least 31 points, but Tri-County Academy put an end to it on Friday. The Jaguars were beaten by the Rebels 38-7. The Jaguars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-0.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 34 points the game before, Stringer was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were dealt a 49-12 defeat at the hands of Taylorsville. The matchup marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Wayne Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Stringer, they moved to 4-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
