Volleyball Recap: Ringgold Extends Winning Streak to Three

Ringgold waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Christian Heritage Lions. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

While Ringgold won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 29-27.

Loren Maloney paced Ringgold's offense, picking up six kills. Maloney got some help from Sadie Pritchard and her seven assists. Alayna Yarger controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Ringgold's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Christian Heritage, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Coincidentally, Ringgold and Christian Heritage will both be playing Northwest Whitfield the next time they take the court. The Lions will head out to face the Bruins at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
