Cut Bank was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 67-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fairfield Eagles. One positive for the Wolves, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Cut Bank's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Fairfield, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Cut Bank will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Heart Butte on January 9, 2025. After both having extra time off, Fairfield and Choteau will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. One thing working in Fairfield's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
