New Lisbon was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in Scenic Bluffs. The Rockets defeated Royall 32-26 earlier in the week.

New Lisbon moved up to 251 from 299 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. A 32-26 win over the Panthers helped Brad Bever's team improve its standing.

Brookwood's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Chuck Arnold threw for 24 yards and Ryan Flock had 16 yards receiving. On the ground Arnold chipped in 46 yards. Cory Ottum helped Brookwood's passing attack out by catching one ball for five yards.

Brookwood's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Falcons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Arnold has thrown for 424 yards and three touchdowns this season, while Erik Hefner has eight catches for 146 yards. Paul Ryan leads the league in rushing with 206 yards.

A big matchup in Scenic Bluffs this week will be when the Rockets take on Necedah. At the moment, New Lisbon is in fourth, while the Cardinals are in second.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Hillsboro takes on Cashton. The Tigers have allowed 58 points this season, while the Eagles have given up 78.

Bangor extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Wonewoc-Center, 69-28. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
