Nansemond-Suffolk Academy's David Gough rumbled for the longest rushing play in VISFA Tidewater this season in his game against Bishop Sullivan Catholic last week. Gough scampered for 64 yards on the play and finished with 163 on the day as his team fell to the Crusaders.

Bishop Sullivan Catholic added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Nansemond-Suffolk Academy, 42-30. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.

Hampton Roads Academy's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Duncan Wingfield threw for 170 and 2 touchdowns and Trey Critides had 92 yards receiving. On the ground Quincy Mock chipped in 317 yards.

Hampton Roads Academy's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Navigators feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Wingfield has thrown for 684 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Critides has 17 catches for 460 yards.

Two highly praised recruits will be in the spotlight when the Crusaders and Norfolk Christian meet this week. Bishop Sullivan Catholic features high profile defensive back Jamil Kamara while the Ambassadors has Mike Carney, a sought after sophomore.

As it stands, the Crusaders are in first, while Norfolk Christian is in fifth.

Norfolk Academy fell to St. Christopher's 36-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
