Recap: Lincoln County Lynx vs. Virgin Valley Bulldogs
After a string of six wins, the Lincoln County Lynx's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 45-14 loss at the hands of Virgin Valley. Lincoln County has not had much luck with Virgin Valley recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Virgin Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ava Noel, who scored five points along with seven steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Natali Isidro, who scored three points along with six steals.
Lincoln County's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Virgin Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.
Lincoln County will be playing in front of their home fans against Founders Classical Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Virgin Valley, they will head out on the road to square off against Chaparral at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
