Baseball Game Preview: Renton Red Hawks vs. Lindbergh Eagles

For the second straight game, Renton will face off against Lindbergh. The Red Hawks will be playing at home against the Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Renton is looking for their season's first win.

Lindbergh hit Renton with a four-run fifth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Red Hawks lost 9-2 to the Eagles.

For Lindbergh's part, Isaiah Motley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on six hits.

At the plate, Aaron Melendres-Rodriguez was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Lindbergh is 5-1 when Melendres-Rodriguez posts two or more runs, but 2-6 otherwise. Tyson Glenn-Thomas was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base.

Renton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Lindbergh, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
