Soccer Recap: Fort Vancouver's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

After flying high against La Center on Friday, Fort Vancouver came back down to earth. The Trappers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Columbia Bruins on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Fort Vancouver can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 91st, while Columbia are ranked 29th).

The loss snapped Fort Vancouver's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-5 record. As for Columbia, they pushed their record up to 9-0-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Fort Vancouver will take on Onalaska at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Columbia, they will challenge Seton Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Seton Catholic will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Columbia surely won't give up without a fight.
