After flying high against Sullivan last Monday, Winfield came back down to earth. The Winfield Warriors came up short against the Veritas Christian Academy Eagles on Tuesday, falling 6-1. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Warriors couldn't quite close it out.
