Basketball Recap: Coupeville Comes Up Short

Coupeville lost against Mount Vernon Christian back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Coupeville Wolves took a blow against the Mount Vernon Christian Hurricanes, falling 61-23. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 220th, while the Hurricanes are ranked 81st).

Coupeville dropped their record down to 9-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Mount Vernon Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Coupeville nor Mount Vernon Christian have any future games scheduled.
