Basketball Recap: Liberty Center Triumphs

Liberty Center's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Fairview Apaches 46-43. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted since March 2, 2024.

Liberty Center's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Fairview, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty Center will face off against Swanton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Liberty Center is facing Swanton at the right time seeing as Swanton is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Fairview, they will square off against Tinora at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tinora will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Fairview surely won't give up without a fight.
