Soccer Recap: Shea Falls Short Against Ranked Cumberland

Shea faced Cumberland in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Raiders fell just short of the Clippers by a score of 1-0. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Shea couldn't quite close it out.

Shea's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-1. As for Cumberland, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shea will take on Classical at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cumberland, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Barrington at 6:30 p.m.
