Jonesboro is a perfect 3-0 against Little Rock Southwest since January of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 73-17, which was the final score in Little Rock Southwest's tilt against Bryant on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Gryphons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 211th, while the Hornets are ranked 46th).

Jonesboro's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Little Rock Southwest, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-23.

Everything came up roses for Jonesboro against Little Rock Southwest when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured a 64-17 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jonesboro since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
