Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Victorious

Lincoln won the last time they faced Huron and things went their way on Thursday too. The Patriots came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

Lincoln walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-16, 24-26, 25-13.

Julia Blom was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 26 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Evy Carney, who had five kills, three digs, two aces, and one block.

Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Huron, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-9.

Lincoln didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Jefferson on the 4th. As for Huron, they will face off against Pierre T.F. Riggs on Tuesday.
