Football Recap: Custer County Bobcats vs. Crowley County Chargers

Custer County lost against Crowley County back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bobcats had to suffer through a 58-20 loss at the hands of the Chargers. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Custer County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Grant Rusk and Agi Thomas.

Levi Gibson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Crowley County, rushing for 177 yards and four TDs while picking up 10.4 yards per carry, and also picking up 37 receiving yards and one touchdown. Gibson is becoming a predictor of the Chargers' success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is 3-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

Custer County's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Crowley County, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
